くだもの
わたしは くだものが すきです から まいにち スーパ へ いきます。
みかん と りんご は ともだち だから わたしは みかん と りんご を いっしょ かいました。
わたしは みかん を たべました。”アアア〜” みかん は こわいです。
”ムニャ ムニャ” みかんは おいしいですね！
りんご は かなしい です。
りんご も たべました。”アアア〜” りんご も こわいです。
”ガジガジ!” りんご も おいしいですね！
みかん と りんご は おなかで あいます。
みかん と りんご は ハッピー です。

I like that you used カタカナ for the voices of the くだものから it equates them more with animals than ひとたち which makes it slightly less disturbing but still very very cute! :P

ReplyDeleteThe story is so cute and I love your use of かたかな to label in the picture and to make the fruits speak. わたしは ストーリが すき です。
For my Katakana literary work I used katakana for loan words and to show onomatopoeia.
ReplyDeleteThe words スーパ and ハッピー were loan words of 'supermarket' and 'happy' I used happy instead of 幸せ (shiawase), the japanese word for happy, to show the emphasis of their happiness and also to add to the "cutesy" feel of the story :)
For the onomatopoeia I used :
”ムニャ ムニャ” - To show the sound of munching on a soft fruit, such as the orange.
”アアア〜” - To show the fruits yelling as they are about to be eaten.
”ガジガジ!” - To show the sound of a crunchy fruit, such as the apple.
これは いちばん いいですね！とでも おもしろいです。
ReplyDeleteとてもかわいいです。What I really like is how this work would be a truly effective children's book. It's great. Having also seen the physical copy, I love that you made it small (as for a children's book), it all works together!
